Laboratories, research, campus quiz - 11th grade FOSBOS at the European Campus

On Tuesday, July 2, the 11th grade of FOSBOS Pfarrkirchen visited the European Campus Rottal-Inn (ECRI). A varied program awaited the 50 or so students from the technical and social branches.

Andrea Ebertseder from the MINT team introduced the ECRI and the range of courses on offer. Franziska Durner explained scientific work and citation rules, which was helpful for upcoming term papers or seminar papers.

Research is also carried out at the ECRI. Anna Schmaus-Klughammer, MED4PAN project supervisor, presented the research project to support medical care in rural areas. The students then explored the laboratories. The course of the sun was simulated in the Healthy and Sustainable Buildings lab, they learned about facial expression analysis in the DigiHealth&Smart Tourism lab and experimental setups were shown in the EEE lab for electrical and energy engineering.

A campus tour with a quiz and draw rounded off the visit. The students gained many new impressions and practical tools.
